Pecan Store March 19th, 2009

I have never tried this recipe, but I’ve also never heard of a pecan burger, so I thought I would post it in case anyone is feeling adventurous. If you do decide to give it a go, let me know how it is.

I was looking around the foodnetwork.com site, did a search for “pecans”, and this was one of the first recipes to show up. I probably will end up trying it. I mean, how could it really taste bad? It’s from Paula Dean, and if you don’t know who Paula Dean is, all you need to know is that she’s Southern and doesn’t skimp on the flavor… or butter or bacon or heavy cream, for that matter. The recipe seems simple enough and would probably be a nice addition to a barbecue, although not one you’d incorporate into your everyday collection of recipes.
